NHTSA complaint #10001167, filed 2002-12, 6,000 miles

“Intermittent wipers stop working. Sometimes they like ad, meaning: one wipe, pause, 2 wipes, pause, 3 wipes, pause, 4 wipes, pause, the back to 2 wipes and counts back up. My theory is maybe a capacitor(s) have gone bad?”

NHTSA complaint #10080613, filed 2004-07, 49,000 miles

“The heater and defroster failed to generate heat. No events leading up to failure. This fall when we needed the heat and window defroster just luke warm air was coming out. The intake hose to the heater was hot the out take hose was cold. This failure causes a major safety issue because the front window will not un-fog and the ice and snow will not melt off the front window. The driver can not see out of the front window. There is no warning to this problem. Research this problem on the web and there are numerous other people and vehicles with the same problem. …”

NHTSA complaint #10142683, filed 2005-11, 99,925 miles

“Ever since I bought this vehicle I have had nothing but trouble with it. Since I have bought it in july it has been in the shop for approx. 10 times. The first day I brought it home it would not go into reverse. Needless to say it already has a new transmission. I have also had problems with the rear middle seat belt locking up and making it impossible to wear. I have brougt this problem up to the dealer several times and they have even replaced all of the seat belts, but it still persists. …”

NHTSA complaint #761612, filed 2002-05

“Power mirrors have experienced repeat failures where they would move themselves. Dealer determined mirror actuators were flawed in designed. New design actuators installed. Problem still recurrs, though less often.”

NHTSA complaint #761740, filed 2002-05
