Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“I could not turn off the ignition after starting the car. Dealer who replaced the switch told me the ignition had exploded, that happens all the time with this car. He would not show me the unit he had removed, and said they have to send it the GM. It was not a GM warranty replacement. I had to pay the deductible for the aftermarket service contract.”

NHTSA complaint #10576588, filed 2014-04, 41,700 miles

“Power windows: unable to roll down any window except the driver side using the driver side door panel. This, in conjunction with the door handles breaking off when the car was barely 3 years old, makes it a safety concern should I need to get out of the car through the windows. I am able to roll the windows up when using the driver side door panel button, just unable to roll them down. …”

NHTSA complaint #10826097, filed 2016-02, 44,000 miles

“On going issue of brake lights intermittently coming on without touching brake pedal. First noticed something wrong because cruise control wouldn't activate. Found problem at night when I could see the glow from my brake lights on the top inside edge of my rear hatch. Replacing brake switch above pedal did not fix problem. Sounds kind of funny, but I got brake lights to go off while setting in driveway and pounding my center console out of frustration. …”

NHTSA complaint #11290572, filed 2019-12, 70,000 miles

“As I was driving down the off ramp of the freeway the front of my car started to shake and rattle. A couple minutes later after turning a corner, only going 30mi/hr, the cars power steering then turned off. Every time I turn my car on and take a trip the power steering goes off at least twice. Which is about 5-6 times a day.”

NHTSA complaint #10579571, filed 2014-04, 66,800 miles

“Takata recall one or more of power windows don't work, most of the time. The headlights. Parking lights & tai light don't work alot of the time. Comes on then goes off. Most of the time, the passenger side. People will tell me they are not working or if I pull up to a store I can see one of the lights are out, then sometimes they come back on. Seems there is a short somewhere! This is moving or stationary both & anywhere I drive.”
