“This part covered under GM recall 94-c-59 but only if it was installed on a veh intented to be used as a police car or taxi cab per dealer. Impala ss is 9c1 option code. Same mechanicaly as police car. Seems like GM should have included it in the recall. This is a safety issue! No safety defect mentioned in summary.”
