“While opening the sunroof the sunshade dislodged from slider causing the copper metal retractable piece to snap loudly and hit me in the head aside from scaring me near death as I was driving down the highway. The sunshade now sags blocking the visibility of the rearview mirror as well the sunroof will not work as the sunshade can't open.”

NHTSA complaint #11286466, filed 2019-12, 65,000 miles

“Service blind detection system. This warning came on after 1 day of purchasing my 2014 Impala so I took car back and the dealer took it to chevy to fix the recall but I was told that they're to many miles on my vehicle. This issue needs to be fixed because I'm within my 15days if used vehicle warranty and if this issue continues this could cause other issues as I have read due to reviews on this issue. …”

NHTSA complaint #11216986, filed 2019-05, 111,927 miles

“The blindspot detection system module failed and it messed up all my electrical systems in the car thw speedometer RPM and fuel and temperature gauges bottomed out to 0. All the lights came on . The vehicle was in motion doing 79 MPH on the interstate. On star thought I was in an accident.”

NHTSA complaint #11202653, filed 2019-04, 66,500 miles

“We bought our 2014 chevy Impala ltz march 2018. The back trunk area where spare tire is has filled with water multiple times leading to mold we have breathed in. We have to keep cleaning and emptying water out to try and kill the mold. This is awful. We are not the only ones many complaints with bad tail light gaskets. This should be a recall!!! Gm should have to replace at no cost to the consumer. Mold is dangerous and can be deadly.”

NHTSA complaint #11270881, filed 2019-10, 67,000 miles

“Service side detection comes on the dash everytime the car is started. Recently I tried to enter my vehicle and the fob did not unlock the doors after several attempts. Once it did, the car would not start. After several attempts of starting the vehicle it finally worked, but the gauges kept turning on and off even while the car was in motion as well as the door locks. This is the first time this has happened, but it was quite concerning while driving.”
