NHTSA complaint #10979824, filed 2017-04, 182,000 miles“As I was driving my car acted as if it was going to stall wouldn't go pass 45-50 miles per hour. I went to a automotive shop just to find out the catalyst converter it's very dangerous why driving in the car stalls.”
NHTSA complaint #11348888, filed 2020-08, 197,000 miles“The driver side sun visor will no longer stay up and falls down obstructing forward vision. I've gone on the internet and this is a somewhat common occurrence on the Impala. Gm has no repair for it other than replacement. A new visor costs 125.00 plus installation. I think it should be a recall based on safety.”
NHTSA complaint #10374470, filed 2011-01, 100,000 miles“I have had my car for almost a year now and ever since I bought it, it has caused nothing but an issue. I always get an engine power reduced or sometimes even starting disabled service throttle. This can happen anywhere from 1-100 times a day while I am driving. It has happened on city streets, highways, turning, you name it and it has happened. It is becoming a very big safety issue as it will do it in the middle of intersections and I fear that I will get into an accident. …”
