“Loud clicking noise coming from inside the dashboard. The sound is near the driver side passenger side. It happens whenever I unlock the doors or do anything with the air conditioning/heating controls. It goes on for minutes at a time when I first get in the car and happens on and off while I'm driving”
NHTSA complaint #11229316, filed 2019-07, 90,000 miles“The rear impact bar on my 2012 Impala is rotted out, not just rusted, rotted. It offers no protection in a rear end collision. I bought the car new and the rest of the car is still pretty clean with very minor rust in the body seams.”

Its been doing that ever since I bought the car. As the miles got on the car I thought it might be the catalytic converter. I have 200,000 miles plus”
NHTSA complaint #11016370, filed 2017-08, 35,597 miles“When I purchased this vehicle I had a 42 month warranty. Several months after my purchase I noticed that the tires (all 4) were dry rotting. Several months after that the passenger side head light was fogging to the point it was dimming the head light. I took the vehicle back to where I purchased this and the name of the Chevrolet dealer was tom bannen and now serra Chevrolet. I complained to general motors in michigan and they told me to take this back to the dealership. …”
NHTSA complaint #10854583, filed 2016-04, 20,000 miles“I was driving on a residential road and I took a turn onto a different residential road and right after I started to accelerate the check engine light came on. Right after, the service stabilitrak and service traction control light came on. The car started sputtering and when I started to stop the brakes locked on and off as I came to a stop. It continued to sputter every time I accelerated and the brakes continued to lock every time I had to engage them. I could barely get the car to drive faster than 25 MPH. Once I got home I popped the hood and the engine seemed to be shaking.”
