“I have a 2010 chevy Impala and it has the airbag issue which it has a recall but when I call chevy they say michael vehicles not affected even though it's has the same exact is shoes with the passenger seat in the wires as the recall. When I call chevy it only shows one recall for the ignition switch and they want to charge me to fix the airbag issue but there's a recall for servings 2009 and 2010 chevy Impala”

NHTSA complaint #11165640, filed 2019-01, 110,000 miles

“The service airbag system light came on and I was told that this is a dealership only problem and the dealership wants $130.00 just to check it out. Being a safety issue and a dealership fix only problem I feel like I should not have to pay for attention to this matter.”

NHTSA complaint #11300008, filed 2020-01, 79,000 miles

“For some reason throughout the last year my air bag light will stay on for quite awhile then go off and come back on at another time! I noticed there was a recall on air bags and even though it doesn't show a recall for my car I feel there is an issue with my air bags!”

NHTSA complaint #11270226, filed 2019-10, 278,678 miles

“I was going home from work in the middle of 4-lane rush hour traffic going across an intersection. With no warning, no lights coming on or anything my car began to lose acceleration and stopped then it just would not move at all! The tow truck had a hard time getting the car onto his truck as the wheels locked up..............no warning lights, never slipped never had any transmission issues.”

NHTSA complaint #10853776, filed 2016-04, 112,388 miles

“I heard a very loud clicking sound from my parked vehicle. Upon entering, I noticed that the passenger air bag on indicator light was lit. I pressed it in with my finger and the light went from on to off. I drove for a few minutes, then stopped the vehicle and restarted. The passenger air bag light stayed on.”
