“I have a 2014 Chevrolet Impala 2014 Ltz with 75000 miles on it. About a week ago I got a notification saying service side detection I lost my side detection on the side mirrors. Now my lane departure camera stop working and now my part assist for the rear camera has also stopped working. What's the point of paying more for a vehicle to be safe if all of the safety features start to fail.”

“Messages for “service side detection system” and “service rear vision system” appear web vehicle is turned on. Side detection system as well as backup camera are both non functional. GM knows about this issue and had a recall/ warranty repair program. however I was never notified to bring my vehicle in to have this repair done, and now I believe it is past the date that was set to have repairs covered. Will be contacting GM to have these things potentially fixed.”
