“I lost control of the vehicle when the road became bumpy. The vehicle was bouncing up and down pitching from side to side. I was driving the posted speed limit. This happened on the day I bought the vehicle and I was on my way home from the dealership. At first I thought the vehicle was acting like that because it was new. Nope. It's real. The truck bounces and pitches hard every time I hit a bump in the road. I even drove back to the location where it happened on the first day that I bought it and sure enough the vehicle acted the same way. …”

“The antilock brake system (ABS), brakes, and electronic stability control system (ESC) might not illuminate. This could cause the driver to not know if any of these systems are inoperable.”

“Upper control arm ball joint failed causing me to lose stealing control, luckily I was only driving 10MPH, if I had been on the interstate this could have been more serious possibly fatalities involved, I have read reports this is a common thing, my truck is a 2021 Silverado, I never received a recall notice”

NHTSA complaint #11546263, filed 2023-09

“last October 2025 while going a slow rate of speed my passenger front ball joint severed and this past 17 oct 2026 my driver side ball joint broke also going a slow rate of speed after turning onto a highway.”

NHTSA complaint #11772005, filed 2026-10

“I purchased a used 2021 Chevrolet Silverado from a dealership 5 months ago. Almost immediately after purchasing the truck, I would hear and feel an intermittent pop that originated from near the floor of the front passenger side. The sound became more frequent and would happen mostly when making sharp turns but also when making softer turns. I took it to the dealership to investigate. They had it for a week and supposedly examined the entire vehicle. They were able to replicate the pop sound when driving it but were unable to diagnose the problem. …”
