“In february 2004, I purchased a used 2002 Chevrolet. In june 2004 the vehicle's electronic brake control module failed and was replaced by my local Chevrolet dealer. At the time of the repair the vehicle had 52, 000 miles. On february 15, 2007 the same part failed again. The vehicle now has 102,000 miles. The electronic brake control module is a non-wear item. I contacted Chevrolet to inquire about a recall on this item. No recall exist however there have been technical service bulletins issue concerning this item. …”
NHTSA complaint #10182952, filed 2007-02, 102,000 miles“I am writing to report the second failure of a valve stem from ntb. The tire is a michelin tire installed on a 2002 chevy Tahoe. All tires are properly inflated and are maintained at the proper level. The first occurrence was approx. 2 years ago and the tire lost pressure, delaminated and blew out. The current tire lost pressure but is intact. Upon returning home my wife attempted to reinflate the tire to determine where the air is leaking from. It was determined that the air was leaking from the valve stem. Both tires and valve stems were purchased from ntb.”
NHTSA complaint #10273169, filed 2009-06, 24,000 miles“Recently I noted a grinding noise in the rear end of my Tahoe. A repair shop showed me the back plates on the rear wheels. They were completely corroded to the point that pieces were falling off the plates. I was informed that this would not affect my braking but could lead to the inability to use my emergency brake. The manager said he had never seen anything this bad. A technician nearby spoke up and siad he saw a set on a chevy truck recently. I am submitting this material for only one purpose. …”

Appeared to be from air conditioning (A/C) condenser & compressor air vents in the front and back of the Tahoe was not cooling off . With A/C off it will not make this noise. Caller, talked to several people with the same problem. The problem was intermittent. Replaced tensioner pully, compressor, and now I am told it wa s the AC condenser. I have already spent $1100, and warranty only paid for 1 item. I now need $500 for AC condensor to hope to have vehicle back to fair condition. …”
