“Unusual knocking noises, performance issues, high RPM, - Traction control light is on Feels at times the engine is on verge of losing power while I'm driving on the highway with my children and I could get hit check engine light blinking constantly”

NHTSA complaint #11663598, filed 2025-05

“While traveling on the highway, the vehicle suddenly lost all power. The gas pedal became unresponsive, and the engine ceased functioning entirely—without any prior warning or indicators. I was forced to coast into a nearby parking lot to prevent a potential collision. This incident put both myself and my child at serious risk of injury or worse, had it occurred at a higher speed or in heavier traffic. Once stopped, the vehicle would not restart. I had no choice but to have it towed to the dealership for evaluation. …”

NHTSA complaint #11669503, filed 2025-06

“Vehicle was around empty with 40miles remaining and would not start via keyless remote. Upon starting the vehicle all lights on the dashboard came on, this has happened previously and it fixed itself. When this happens, I have 0 brakes. Forward Collision unavailable, Service Brake Pads monitor, Service Traction Control, Service Steering Column, but most importantly Brake System Failure”

NHTSA complaint #11712599, filed 2026-01

“The car presented steering lock column issues with repair lights on at 50 miles. Since then, they have repaired the system numerous times and replaced that system fully twice. They also replaced the manual start system and six other pieces of the car over 18 visits to two different Chevy dealerships. The car still reduces speed and stops acceleration, has electric issues in the windows, lights and gate etc.”

NHTSA complaint #11704193, filed 2025-12
