“The engine randomly shut off while driving down the interstate and wouldn’t start back up. The car had the recall “remedy” done to it. Inspection and thicker oil. The only warning I got was to restart the engine after it shut off. My safety was compromised by breaking down on a main interstate coming through Memphis with no emergency lane to pull over in.”

NHTSA complaint #11733812, filed 2026-04

“We were driving full speed down the highway and the vehicle completely shut down steering wheel locked and we were stranded for six hours. Turns out the dealer said it was just the battery and they fixed the grounding of the battery. I’m sorry but I’m not satisfied with this response. I’m scared to drive this vehicle.”

NHTSA complaint #11761638, filed 2026-09

“Unusual knocking noises, performance issues, high RPM, - Traction control light is on Feels at times the engine is on verge of losing power while I'm driving on the highway with my children and I could get hit check engine light blinking constantly”

NHTSA complaint #11663598, filed 2025-05

“I was a victim to the L87 Engine Loss of Propulsion recall. On June 19, 2025, my engine was replaced as it failed all test. After getting a new engine, I have had 5 engine misfires and the dealership blamed it on faulty gas. Now my 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe that I trust to drive my two toddlers around, is at the dealership for a flashing engine light. Even after the engine was initially “remedied”, the new engine continues to fail and I have lost trust in having a safe and reliable vehicle.”

NHTSA complaint #11750154, filed 2026-07

“While driving, without warning my brake system failed and vehicle did not stop when I applied my foot on the breaks. In addition to while driving up a steep incline the engine failed as I was actively applying my foot to the gas pedal causing vehicle to roll backwards. Most importantly i do not feel confident using this vehicle any further knowing that the brakes are Not operating as they should, risking my life and my children’s life is nonnegotiable. Someone help please.”
