“The car starts it self and then shuts off all by it self. It has done this twice that we know of. Its impossible to do this even if your keys are in your pocket as you have to hit 3 different buttons to do this. I am not the only one having this issue as there are people complaining on FB that their car does the same thing.”

NHTSA complaint #11762307, filed 2026-09

“Initially, the engine would intermittently fail to start and at times would not start at all. I took the vehicle to a certified Chevrolet service center, where the battery was tested and found to be functioning properly. They later concluded that a faulty front-view camera was disrupting the electrical system and ordered a replacement (my first visit was Friday, 9/26/25). I took the car home for the weekend due to family obligations. On Monday, 9/29, while driving back to the service center, the engine suddenly shut off on a local road. …”

NHTSA complaint #11719203, filed 2026-02

“Vehicle had large puddle of antifreeze under drivers front of vehicle. Antifreeze reservoir was completely empty upon opening the hood. There is an active drip of antifreeze under the car as displayed by placing a clean piece of cardboard under the vehicle. There were no indicator lights displaying a problem on the dashboard. Upon using an endoscopic camera, there is an active leak at the hose on the radiator. If I had not noticed the active leak, I would have driven the vehicle and overheated the engine with the possibility of seizing the engine. …”

NHTSA complaint #11759125, filed 2026-08

“Purchased car Tuesday, Thursday night upon pressing the start button all power went out on car. Driving to dealership to have car looked at vehicle shutoff completely at traffic light. Vehicle restarted then two miles from dealership car had multiple warnings and brakes completely went out. Managed to get car off the road safely, currently awaiting tow.”

NHTSA complaint #11652931, filed 2025-04

“The contact owns a 2025 Chevrolet Traverse. While the contact’s wife was driving approximately 5 MPH, the brakes independently activated while the accelerator pedal was depressed. The ABS, traction control, check engine, collision avoidance, and other unknown warning lights illuminated. An audible alert chimed erroneously without a pedestrian nearby. Due to the failure, the contact’s chest struck the steering wheel. A passenger seated in the front passenger’s side seat experienced mental distress. …”
