“The driver seat belt has some issues with buckling. Ultimately, it does buckle but it is not secure. There has been instances where it unbuckled because of a body movement. In order to buckle it I have to insert the belt into the buckle at least 5-6 times, and even then I am not sure if it is entirely secure. This is a huge safety hazard for me.”

NHTSA complaint #10630559, filed 2014-09, 16,000 miles

“The car has a ticking by the right side I reported this to meinke and they let the warranty expire with silvercrest but its noted in my 30 day warranty with drive time.”

NHTSA complaint #11299708, filed 2020-01, 85,000 miles

“First I have noticed my car delays and jerks when putting it into gear. This happens mostly in the winter. More recently my car tried to accelerate a couple times while my foot was on the brake. I took it into the dealership to have it repaired and they stated because they could not make the car do the same thing, they could not fix the problem. Second the recall on the air bags and seat belts was first published almost a year ago. This is my only vehicle and I have two children that are placed in that vehicle. …”

NHTSA complaint #11005066, filed 2017-07, 68,000 miles

“My 2014 Chrysler 200 is subject to the s61 recall because the air bag and seat belt may not deploy or operate properly in an accident. Fca says it has no fix for the issue, but is comfortable with placing my young daughter's life at risk every time she drives. Apparently it is cheaper for them to pay off in a death than really take care of the issue. They clearly can do something since they offer reimbursement if you have already had the issue fixed and they no longer use that faulty device in their new vehicles. Chrysler's response to wait and see if something happens is totally unacceptable. …”

NHTSA complaint #10933845, filed 2016-12, 50,000 miles

“Takata recall...I haven't experienced any accident's and I pray I don't, however I do not feel safe at driving this car knowing the defects that can possibly go wrong in it. I have kids that are my main priority always in the car with me and I'll hate to be in an accident and these defects take place this is not a chance I'm willing to take since I've found out these issues. As of now I'm showing that there is no resolution for the issues so I'm wanting to see about trading this vehicle in asap.”
