“I was in a car accident where another car hit the passenger side and only the passenger air bag deployed. The crash was bad enough where the other airbags should have deployed. I suffered injuries to my back, neck and arms.”

NHTSA complaint #10606052, filed 2014-06, 105,475 miles

“On 6/22/24 I made a left turn, stopped to park. I shifted the gear into reverse and heard a loud pop sound then smoke start coming from underneath the driver side of the hood. I put the car into park and lifted the hood, there were flames on the driver side of the car. The fire department was contacted and put the fire out. The car is totaled.”

“Takata recall. I have tried several times to get an appointment for this defect. They schedule me in september 19; 2017. The morning of the appointment before leaving, I gave them a call it was then that I was told the parts did not come in. I have another appointment for december 5 2017. I hope they can repair the problem.”

NHTSA complaint #11052119, filed 2017-12

“I received a recall notice years ago & wrote you asking why I haven't heard from you re: my airbags & you said they didn't have any & asked me to tell you where I'd like them fixed. I told you & have never heard back. It's been years & I drive around with bad airbags on a recall notice? There's always been something wrong with the driver's seatbelt also & it dings all the time.”

NHTSA complaint #10985483, filed 2017-05

“I was notified of a recall back in september 2016. It is now august 2017 and there is still not a remedy. It's entirely too long of a time for me and my daughter to ride in that dangerous car! Too long and they don't seem to care at all.”
