“Every oil change I have gotten on this vehicle since around 50,000 miles, my mechanic has told me that I was 1 to 2 quarts low on oil. This last time I took it in I was 3 quarts low. I have my oil changed religiously at every 3000 miles. My car is getting on up in age but still shouldn't be burning this much oil. Looking online at various car forums about my same vehicle, a lot of owners seem to have a problem with their Town And Country's also burning oil.”

NHTSA complaint #10419544, filed 2011-08, 72,654 miles

“Beginning in august of 2013 my car stalled (completely shut down...lights, engine, power steering, etc.) while I was driving on a major parkway. It was night and no other car was near me (thankfully), and I slowly glided to the side. It took a lot of effort since I did not have any power steering or lights. I had a friend, my daughter and my daughter's friend in the car with me. We were all very frightened. I brought the car into my dealership (meadowland Chrysler in carmel) new york. At that time they could not find cause. …”

NHTSA complaint #10681612, filed 2015-02, 117,761 miles

“Metal clang from catalytic converter shield since I had vehicle new. Dealer said nothing they can do. Never had this problem in any vehicle. Rattling from slider door, cannot isolate. I have let it go but now it bothering me about the clanging.”

NHTSA complaint #10319464, filed 2010-03, 12,586 miles

“Two problems: 1. While driving very slowly around a curvy road, the engine just stopped ( 2 times) making me hit the curb. The dealership re flashed the computer software and the problem went away. 2. While going up on a small hill, the steering wheel just locked and I could not steer it at all. I turned the engine off and the problem went away. The dealer states that nothing can be done. It is a safety concern especially if it happens on busy highway.”
