“My Town And Country passenger restraint system light came on. Took it to the dealer and they said it is not a safety concern, I think it is because if the airbag and occupant restraint system does not work in an accident the passenger could been injured or killed. I think this issue should be taken up and a recall of vehicles.”

NHTSA complaint #10628109, filed 2014-08, 95,000 miles

“We were traveling at a speed of 55-60 MPH on a highway when we were hit from behind. I was in the front passenger seat. The van went straight to its side and I hit the door window and we continued to roll numerous times and then came to a stop on its side, my same side. During the crash and rollover the opposite passenger sliding door was partially ripped away. Two of the passengers were ejected from the van. No air bags deployed.”

NHTSA complaint #10822295, filed 2016-01, 121,000 miles

“I was involved in a low speed frontal crash on an interstate highway. I was belted in and didn't even touch the airbag, but the airbag shot flames out of the right side hole burning my arm like a blowtorch. I have photos of the injury and it's healing stage. I was advised to go to the hospital for stitches as it split my arm open wide, but I'd been there 5 times in the last 8 months and just dressed it myself. The airbag is supposed to help prevent injury and it was the only thing that caused an injury!”

NHTSA complaint #11114112, filed 2018-07, 79,000 miles

“My airbag warning keeps coming on an you can smell anti freeze. And I have had the air shut down and the engine shut down it starts back up but it is scary. Thank god it has not happened on the freeway.”

NHTSA complaint #11032179, filed 2017-10, 100,000 miles

“My Town And Country is involved in the l25 recall. There have been several occasions where during operation, the key moves from the on position. This causes the vehicle to shut off and I am unable to steer or engage the brakes. I have contacted Chrysler several times about this and to receive an estimated time of when the parts will be available for repair. I contacted them today, 1/6/2015 to let them know that it happened again and I almost caused an accident on a major highway. …”
