“Head lights started flickering then went dark. This happened while driving down the interstate. After the vehicle was off for about 5 minutes, both head lights started working again. However, both headlights flickered and again stopped working while I was again driving down the highway. The vehicle was in motion and I was driving on the highway. Many reports on FCA faulty tipm”

NHTSA complaint #11256748, filed 2019-09, 200,210 miles

“My headlights go off and on. Each morning the flash on and off about 3 times and then go off. I replaced the switch on the dash and the switch on the steering wheel column that is the dimmer switch for lights and wipers switch. I replaced each suggested thing except the tipm which is estimated over $800.”

NHTSA complaint #10916000, filed 2016-10, 200,000 miles

“While driving our van's horn began to go on and off by itself, the wiper blades began to run, and worst of all the dash was blinking on and off. This was a scary situation to be in on the road with my kids. It was very hard to concentrate and frustrating with no answers given.”

NHTSA complaint #10668174, filed 2014-12, 167,300 miles

“I can not shut head lights off when the car is off and also headlight flicker while driving and shut off 2 times in past month while driving on the highway lights completly shut off no rear or front lights pulled over and checked all fuses while doing this lights just came on got home couldnt shut them off had to disconnect the battery 3 weeks of doing this lights finally shuit off on there own and yesterdat problem started all over again somebody told me unplug the headlight swithch wich I did and the lights are still on”

NHTSA complaint #11047197, filed 2017-11, 190,500 miles

“My wife was driving on two different occasions and the van stalled, completely powered off. All electrical systems suddenly started acting in very abnormal ways. The wipers turned on as well as sprayed. The horn started going off, the locks on the doors gut stuck. All warning lights on the dashboard turned on. The AC quit working. The biggest problem is the two occasions the van just quit working going 40 to 60mph and the brakes and power steering not responding. This I think is major safety issues because my two little kids were with her in the van.”
