“This has happened to us three times in the last three weeks. Shortly after starting the car we traveled less than a mile at about 25 MPH and the engine suddenly turned off causing the power steering and breaks to fail. The van restarted one we put it in park and continued to work fine after that. We were driving in a crowded neighborhood where children play at the time.”

NHTSA complaint #11301257, filed 2020-01, 86,000 miles

“After the ignition switch recall was performed on my vehicle we experienced a stall condition that rendered the steering and brakes unusable for several seconds. The situation nearly resulted in an accident. The condition happen on a dry, sunny day while the car was in motion but not accelerating prior to going into a turn.”

NHTSA complaint #10863690, filed 2016-05, 114,600 miles

“Since purchasing the used 2008 Chrysler t&c we noticed the brakes were squeaky, caused vibration, or made a strange noise when turning. We have had to replace brakes and rotors multiple times and on our way back to the garage to find out why there's a new noise when we turn a corner. Overall very disappointing for Chrysler to create such a sub-par product for a family vehicle.”

NHTSA complaint #10640970, filed 2014-10, 50,000 miles

“In my 2008 Chrysler Town And Country which now has about 70,000 miles on it I have changed the front brakes and rotors 6 diffrent times. When going down a hill and braking the steering wheel shakes so bad and I dont feel like I have a full pedal. Have taken back several times to ask about the problem and all I get is a run around from a chrsler garage.”

NHTSA complaint #10473866, filed 2012-09, 15,000 miles

“I had to install new brakes at 24,000 after taking my vehicle to the dealer because there was supposed to be a recall and the dealer told me it had expired . I just had to replace my brake pads and install new rotors at 53,000 miles. I have my receipts and would like to be reimbursed and investigate why the dealer told me that the recall had expired. Obviously there is a problem with the brakes on my vehicle.”
