“After filling my gandmothers gas tank on her 2007 Town And Country we pulled onto the street and the whole car stalled out and I lost control of my steering wheel and breaks. If it hadn't been for quick reaction time on my part. We would have been in a collision. It's never had a problem before. In order to gain control back I had to throw the van in park and then it restarted and drove with no problem home.”

NHTSA complaint #10836300, filed 2016-02, 85,000 miles

“Saturday, december 22, 2018 - we were returning home after visiting out of town relatives for the winter holidays. The van stalled on us (entire family of four plus one aunt-five people total in our van) in the middle of the road! I was a panicking fearing we could all die that instant! We were very lucky to safetly get the van to the side of the road with the rolling momentium the van still had despite the engine turning off, no power steering, and no power brakes! …”

NHTSA complaint #11166690, filed 2019-01, 300 miles

“Last week, within a minute or two of refueling and restarting the engine, the car stalled completely - eliminating steering control and making braking extremely difficult, causing me to hit the opposite curb and obstruct traffic. This has occurred at least 7 times in the past 2 years. It has happened immediately as I've exited the pumps at the gas station and also after I've exited the station and turned onto a city street or a highway. One time it happened as I turned onto a freeway on-ramp. It has happened after turning and also while driving straight ahead. …”

NHTSA complaint #11011828, filed 2017-07, 110,000 miles

“On the Chrysler town & country( I have a 2007) the brakes are under sized and need to be replaced ever 10,000 miles. My concern is that someone won't realize they need to replace the brakes and be in an accident. Hopefully no one will be injured if the brakes fail.”

NHTSA complaint #10294813, filed 2009-12, 31,131 miles

“We have a 2007 Chrysler town & country with 21,000 miles. Front brake pads and rotors have premature wear. Have to have replaced because they are at 3mm. Chrysler sts 'normal maintenance'...I've never had to replace brakes on a leased vehicle! Anyone else with this issue?”
