“When A/C is on---water leaks thru firewall on front passenger side---I noticed this was a recall on other Chrysler town & country model but is not listed for my 2007 model---this has been leaking since 2010--- can I get this covered----I did not realize you had this web-site until now--other-wise I would have reported this sooner---I have to keep a thick towel on the floorboard to catch the water--”

NHTSA complaint #10680327, filed 2015-02, 80,000 miles

“We have noticed an extreme amount of rust in the wheel wells and the frame of the sliding doors. This van has been well cared for and do not think the rust is a feel caution of its care. I am unsure if the sliding door frame will remain intact and we may need to stop opening it up.”

NHTSA complaint #10584143, filed 2014-04, 145,000 miles

“2007 Chrysler Town And Country with stow and go seats, driving down a street in lubbock, tx the lane had about 3 inches of rain water in it. Heard a loud noise on the bottom of the van. The next day I discovered that the spare tire assembly was missing. Though this may not be a safety concern to me, it may be to others following. I think the water pressure splashing on the bottom of the van caused the cable holding the spare tire assembly to loosen and eventually snap.”

NHTSA complaint #10341907, filed 2010-07, 33,444 miles

“Our van was sitting in our driveway on a day that was cooling from 69f to about 50f at 7pm. We had just gotten back from a drive to the store. The rear hatchback window exploded spontaneously, leaving a 1 foot x 6 inch hole on the passenger side and a 6 inch roundish hole on the drivers side. Both holes were a little lower than the middle, top to bottom. The window was completely shattered in small pieces, top to bottom, and the slightest shake caused pieces to fall off and the holes got bigger.”

NHTSA complaint #10425344, filed 2011-09, 93,210 miles

“Power sliding passenger doors stop working due to wires inside wire harness breaking. Splicing the wires back together is only a temp. Fix additionally rust has developed at the bottom of the sliding doors. Additionally, I am not able to lock the passenger sliding door on the passenger side.”
