I was told that my front brackes had 15-20% of the pad left and that they should be replaced and the rotars turned .tthe vehicle has only 22,000 miles on it. It seems to me that brakes should last longer than 22,000 miles.I was told I must do allot of city driving I am now experiencing rough,delayed shifting at about 15 MPH. Hesitation, clunk. The transmission has slipped out of gear while driving and also rough downshifting. …”

I thought brakes should last much longet than that. The dealership replaced the brakes for me and I chose less expensive ones(180.00) not cheap. He told me they would squeak. Ok so they squeaked for months and this past week my rear brakes went bad. I questioned that I have not even had this 1.5 years and have had to replace both front and rear brakes(300.00). He told me they do not make them like they used to. I would expect them to be better today. …”
