“'takata recall' every winter my Dodge journeys 'service awd, ABS light, and traction light' will come on when the sensor gets cold and wet. It shifts out of awd completely. This has been an issue every single winter. It is recalled on 2012-2015 models but for some odd reason my 2015 model is not included in that recall. Very frustrating.”

NHTSA complaint #11152360, filed 2018-11, 30,000 miles

“Takata recall . I was driving my car and I noticed it smoking I look and the back window was on fire smoking and my wiring to door is fried and window switch is fried. Updated 12/06/18”

NHTSA complaint #11145178, filed 2018-11, 60,000 miles

“When accelerating vehicle pulls more one way (right). When at steady speed vehicle holds direction but if getting on the freeway or accelerating after stopping, I have to strongly correct the vehicle's direction. Concerned there is a possibility of brakes not fully releasing after stopping and is only noticeable because of the speed (entering the freeway) or full stop was made.”

NHTSA complaint #11099119, filed 2018-06, 65,000 miles

“When the car is in cruise control it will not stop when breaks are being hit it cause the car to go off the road and almost kill and the wheel knocked up”

NHTSA complaint #11416435, filed 2021-05

“The contact owns a 2015 Dodge Journey. The contact stated that the all wheel drive warning indicator flashed intermittently. When the warning indicator illuminated, the vehicle went into two wheel drive and became difficult to maneuver. The vehicle was not diagnosed by a dealer to determine the cause of the failure. In addition, the brake pedal was difficult to depress and the front and rear wheels were unstable. The manufacturer was notified of the failures. The VIN and failure mileage were not available.”
