“Took the truck in to replace a headlight bulb and was told the tpim/onboard computer needs to be replaced. This could be dangerous I found out as the computer could shut down the vehicle while it's being driven which happened to my wife in the truck 2 years ago. We were told at the time we needed a new battery.”

NHTSA complaint #10640678, filed 2014-10, 55,500 miles

“One day all of the sudden the headlights won't come on. Neither when turned on or in auto. And then all of the sudden started working again without even popping the hood up. A couple days later, during night time, I went to switch the low beam to high beam and puff, no lights at all while driving 40mph in a hill country side in a pitch black night. I switched back to low beam and nothing... Scary times... I've ended up pulling over the side (only half of the truck since it was on the hill side), turn hazard blinkers on ... …”

NHTSA complaint #10839375, filed 2016-03, 99,500 miles

“Approximately a year ago I began experiencing lighting problems, flickering all around; and with truck off the remote would randomly, continuously lock the doors. I finally broke the remote to make it stop. Now my driver side tail light won't work. I needed my inspection/registration but couldn't get it until the light is repaired. My mechanic said it's the fuse box, said it's in horrible condition. More problems are possible. Parts & labor will be near $850. Various forums are inundated with similar complaints. …”

NHTSA complaint #10705706, filed 2015-04, 75,000 miles

“Head lights and tail lights go out when driving. Dash lights remain on. They will come back on in a few miles and also if I stop the truck and restart. Playing with the switch doesn't make any difference. I have had it in the chrysler repair shop 4 times to search for an error but none are shown. Chrysler refuses to do anything since they cannot determine what is wrong. I feel this is a serious safety problem and should be treated as such. I also had the side outside heated mirror replaced because it had a burnt spot in the lower corner. …”

NHTSA complaint #10448919, filed 2012-02, 22,000 miles

“Headlight green connector clip for low beer fails to make connection causing headlamp out.. Cleaning prongs inside clip fixes it temporarily 2. Tire pressure sensors vavles do not read properly and are extremely annoying”
