“I drive a Standard ‘22 Bronco. Only E-brake works for parking brake when in parking lots and such. My Bronco rolls into oncoming traffic and pedestrians when the e-brake releases. I am former Homeland Security and this unacceptable, as this if my 10th issue with the Ford Bronco! Safety First!”

NHTSA complaint #11741910, filed 2026-06

“I pulled up to a parking spot and when I tried to brake to place my car into park my brakes would not engage and my vehicle kept moving forward. I had to slam my car into park to prevent from slamming into a barrier. My rear camera goes in and out of a blank screen when “backing up” or reversing.”

NHTSA complaint #11635612, filed 2025-01

“While on interstate 485 Charlotte NC, traveling with adaptive cruise control on at 73mph the brake light came in with a message to check brake system. I proceeded to apply the brake but was hard and unable to slow down. On my second attempt it worked then became normal. The bronco is at the dealer now for repair. And they found a faulty vacuum hose. Waiting for new hose to arrive at dealer”

NHTSA complaint #11594240, filed 2024-06

“This vehicle is supposed to be flat tow able. If I go to flat tow this car it will lock up the wheels during the first hour or so while towing behind my motor home using a supplemental braking system. I find out later from a forum online that I need to remove some fuses to tow it properly. I hear Ford is working on this issue for a couple years but how many tire lock ups before someone gets hurt?”

NHTSA complaint #11502951, filed 2023-01

“Not exactly sure how it started to happen. Meaning there was a powertrain malfunction so my Ford computer tells me, which caused the vehicle to not restart and in addition to it not restarting, the vehicle also didn't have brakes, so it simply rolled backwards without any control until I hit a tree to stop me. On the way down, I also hit the bumper and damaged it and also hit the driver's side mirror on a rock on the way down.”
