“Battery charge, over heated, failed power train, and failed 4x4 happened all within seconds of each other. We were on a 2 lane hwy where there was very little room to pull off the main road. It was Christmas Eve and we were about 60 miles from home. We had to pay around $400 dollars to have it towed home and it was freezing outside while we waited.”
NHTSA complaint #11561769, filed 2023-12“I had a light pop up that said “charging system service soon” so we took the vehicle in for service. Once the dealership got back to us, each of the ports on the wiring harness are corroded. The vehicle is barely over 36,000 miles and I’m already being advised to change out the entire wiring harness so there almost has to be some fault in the coverage of this equipment”
NHTSA complaint #11575990, filed 2024-03“3 different incidents have came up with recalls that have been going on for awhile this a working vehicle that makes my money to pay for the loans, which for over a year have not made me any money costing me to lose money out of my own pocket, ford has not been willing to work with because it’s a used vehicle and I didn’t barrow money from to purchase this has been going on for more than a year it is ridiculous!!”
NHTSA complaint #11760648, filed 2026-08“I pulled up to a parking spot and when I tried to brake to place my car into park my brakes would not engage and my vehicle kept moving forward. I had to slam my car into park to prevent from slamming into a barrier. My rear camera goes in and out of a blank screen when “backing up” or reversing.”
NHTSA complaint #11635612, filed 2025-01“Vehicle has Surged and stalled randomly, the Crash alert warning appears on screen and starts to stop the vehicle with nothing in front of it, I have asked my Ford Dealer to remedy the recalls as I have paid over $50,000 for the vehicle and they tell me sorry there are no fixes, I tried to trade it in, and they said they cannot because they have a no sale enforcement on the Bronco and they said if they took it in trade they could not sell it.”
