“my vehicle lost power on the GW bridge in NYC. It has less than 1000 miles and the power, driving at 60 mph just died. To add insult to injury Ford (24hr roadside assistance told me that there were no tow truck available at this time). When my car was finally towed, vis a vie a 3rd party, to the nearest dealership, I was told that because I didnt buy my car there, there was nothing I could do but wait a few weeks . Ford 24 hr road side assistance really left me out to dry. I wish and am looking for ways to sue them. …”

NHTSA complaint #11472452, filed 2022-07, 977 miles

“Car was in park and on a steep incline and rolled backwards. 6 months ago it rolled forwards when in a steep incline. The parking break was also set. It still rolled and I had to jump Back into the car and step in break I checked it was in park and the parking break was on. I went into the house and my car had rolled into the ditch.”

NHTSA complaint #11566863, filed 2024-01

“Battery charge, over heated, failed power train, and failed 4x4 happened all within seconds of each other. We were on a 2 lane hwy where there was very little room to pull off the main road. It was Christmas Eve and we were about 60 miles from home. We had to pay around $400 dollars to have it towed home and it was freezing outside while we waited.”

NHTSA complaint #11561769, filed 2023-12

“My vehicle has had two misfires and the check engine light came on twice. I brought it to quirk ford in Quincy mass and they said ford has not found a solution for this recall which has been years for this recall. My vehicle putters when I start it and has a skunk aroma when I shut it off”

NHTSA complaint #11765608, filed 2026-09

“I have experienced a loss of fuel pressure/engine stall on several occasions. I am not sure of the specific dates yet I had to add one on this form. There has been a recall since July 2025, for which Ford has acknowledged this increases the risk of a crash yet there is still no resolution. This is unacceptable, I have listed the recall numbers below. Manufacturer Recall Number 25S75 NHTSA Recall Number 25V455”
