Example complaints

Body and structure: “The contact owns a 2019 Ford E-450. The contact stated that the passenger's side rear door frame had detached. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 155,533. The VIN was invalid.”

NHTSA complaint #11507568, filed 2023-02, 155,533 miles

Fuel system: “When refueling the gas pump clicks off after a few seconds. Sometimes it doesn't click off but back splashes fuel out the gas filler hole. I have had gas spray back several times, getting all over the RV, the ground, and my clothes. Repair places have said there is nothing they can do because it is a design flaw cause the fill tube is too flat. This seems like a huge fire risk to me.”

NHTSA complaint #11483013, filed 2022-09

Other or unknown: “The L shaped bracket that supports the RV hydraulic/motor assembly for the auto leveling system has failed. The weld between two pieces of steel that makes up the bracket has failed. When the bracket fails the assembly is supported temporarily by electrical wires and hydraulic hoses. If it fails further and drags the road or separates completely, there is a possibility of fire under the vehicle and/or death or injury to other drivers on the road. There other safety recalls for this exact failure but my unit was not listed.”

NHTSA complaint #11749775, filed 2026-07

Tires: “The contact owns a 2019 Entegra Odyssey RV constructed on a 2019 Ford E450 chassis equipped with Hankook Tires, Tire Line: Dynapro HT, Tire Size: LT225/75/R16, DOT Number: BCXEHUH. The contact stated that upon inflating the tires, his brother was informed that the tires needed to be replaced as they had dry rotted. Additionally, the contact stated that the tires were consistently becoming flat while driving. The Tire dealer and manufacturer were not made aware of the failure. The RV dealer and manufacturer were notified of the failure but provided no assistance. The tires were not replaced. …”
