“A car took the red light as we had the green light she ran into the car in front of me and then fish taled and her rear car smashed into my front... None of my airbags deployed at all but the other 2 car did and my front end damages are severely damaged. The person responsible for this accident was arrested at the scene and they did a sobriety test on her”
NHTSA complaint #11390646, filed 2021-01, 101,000 miles“The prior reported issue of coolant intrusion of the Ford Ecoboost into the engine. They only recalled a select number and it seems from both own experience and reviews online that this is happening to a wide variety of years and people even though they fixed the issue. Had I not been diligent regarding my car this could have ended poorly and in this economy it's ridiculous to not have a reliable and SAFE vehicle”
NHTSA complaint #11601175, filed 2024-07, 112,916 miles“Due to faulty cracking coolant reserviors that I have replaced twice now, part of the motor has cracked and not only leaks oil, but leaks coolant into my engine, where the engine burns the coolant. So now my motor is junk. I have had no recalls on this vehicle but multiple issues that fall under recalls for other vehicles. Reassessments need to be made.”
NHTSA complaint #11328989, filed 2020-06, 90,000 miles“While car is in motion our 2014 Ford Escape stalls. We turn the key off, turn it back in and it will sometimes run for a bit before stalling again and sometimes stall immediately. Currently this has happened on city streets and parking lots. Once while turning. Others going straight. Luckily we have not had this happen on the interstate yet.”
NHTSA complaint #11271283, filed 2019-10, 1 miles“Our 2014 Ford Escape had a recall on 02-15-18 for the coolant sensor system. Repair was done but did not fix the problem. Engine has coolant leak causing smoke in the exhaust system and leak under the hood. We are afraid of fire in the engine compartment and in the car.anytime we start this vehicle or drive it this happens.”
