“I have a 1999 Ford Expedition. The cable holding the spare tire under the car broke as I was driving down the road. The tire fell onto the road as well as the piece of metal that holds the tire in place. Luckily I was driving about 25 MPH. No other damage occurred to my car or any others. It was the original spare tire, I lower and raise it once in a while to check the tire pressure.”
