“I had my three young children in the car and was driving a brand new 2022 Ford Expedition when I heard a loud sound and my sunroof completely shattered, causing shards of glass to fall on me and my 3 children, as well as almost causing me to get into an accident due to the shock of the incident.”
NHTSA complaint #11533411, filed 2023-07“While I was driving 65mph on the interstate with my three children in car seats in the middle row we heard a loud explosion and the front panel of the panoramic sunroof glass covered the inside of my vehicle, all of myself and my three toddlers. It was a nice sunny day. No trees or cars were around us. Shards of glass were in all of our hair, car seats, stroller and everywhere else in the car.”

As if this was not enough - we then encountered more issues - sunroof was falling on our heads, the step up railing is falling apart....WAIT- there's more - paint coming off the hood...And to top it all off - there is a cracking noise thru the inside. We cannot control the noise. We lose all function and use of controls (radio, climate, etc.).”
