Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“The vehicle (2006 Ford Expedition - eddie bauer) has had for the last 8 months of purchasing it, grinding noise to the start when it does start and this happens about 4-5 times a week, driver side window rattles and screeches when rolled up and down, the back seats rattle, the back glass leaks. The vehicle has been taken to the shop a total of 5 times and was worked on the second time and after that they can't duplicate the problem any more but the problem is still there. They don't, won't or want to work on it anymore. We want a replacement or re-purchase of the vehicle.”
