“The contact rented a 2024 Ford Expedition from Enterprise Rent-A-Car. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked and occupied, the contact was informed by his grandson that the seat belt was not operating properly. The contact inspected the seat belt and became aware that the third-row seat belt rear passenger’s side seat belt buckle assembly was damaged. Neither a dealer nor an independent mechanic was contacted. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or an independent mechanic to be diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired. …”
