“In the last year I have taken my F150 powerboost in Autonation Ford Orange Park in Jacksonville, Florida twice for recalls. For recall NHTSA # 22S26/22V250 the service department said they were ordering parts and would contact me when they arrived. Never contacted me, even after follow ups. I have recently taken my there for recall NHTSA 23S35/23V509. They have not contacted me.”

“Driving in clear weather, open road, on I-95, no overpasses, smooth road, no road debris, no trucks anywhere in sight, no weird traffic conditions - front panel of my panoramic sunroof, which was closed at the time, just EXPLODED. It sounded like a shotgun went off above my head. Since the headliner was closed at the time, all the pieces were present when I got to a car-wash to vacuum up the glass. I only saw glass. No foreign objects, no rocks, no unknown pieces of the International Space Station - just glass.”

NHTSA complaint #11585767, filed 2024-04

“There is a recall for my vehicle that I cannot get fixed unless I go 150+ miles away to get it serviced at another dealership. The dealership near me, which is where I purchased new from, says it needs to go to a dealership that has a body shop which theirs does not have. I don't think it should be on me to drive half the state to get remedied and why they can't use a local body shop to perform the repair. And they won't even give me the names of dealerships that I could use. Manufacturer Recall Number 21C06 NHTSA Recall Number 21V090”

NHTSA complaint #11586644, filed 2024-05

“In April 0f 2022 I received a recall notice NHTSA 22V142 stating that my windshield wiper motor could stop working at any time. The recall has not been taken care of as of today 9-21-2022. I spoke with my dealership yesterday and they said that they have been told by Ford Motor Co. that they are Not to order the replacement motor to fix the issue unless the customer comes in with a broken motor. Why do we the customer have to wait until the motor stops working before this issue is fixed? What if it breaks during travel in heavy rain? …”

NHTSA complaint #11485634, filed 2022-09

“The contact owns a 2021 Ford F-150. The contact stated that the front windshield wipers failed to operate properly. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact took the vehicle to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed with needing the windshield wiper motors to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 2,000.”
