“I started my truck normally when a very loud screeching/ pounding was coming from the speakers. My decibel meter was reading 128 dB. Super loud! The volume didn't matter, turning off the radio did nothing. I was on my way to the dealership and stopped half way because of the noises from the speakers. I have a recording but it does even come close to how loud it actually is. No way can I drive it like this.”

NHTSA complaint #11578342, filed 2024-03

“The audio system “glitched” and all of the speakers started screeching at maximum volume. I was unable to get this to stop outside of turning the vehicle off. It is so loud my ear were ringing for hours. This is loud enough it could definitely cause someone to wreck and impairs driving ability. I could also smell the electrical in the speakers getting hot and was fearful of an electrical fire. No warning lights. Not reproducible.”

NHTSA complaint #11641894, filed 2025-02

“Multiple electrical issues related to dashboard controls, video sensors, head unit. Controls powering down while driving, sensors throwing multiple error messages. All since 1,500 miles. Ford could not figure out what the issue was so they replaced the wiring harness. After 2 months in the shop I got my vehicle back. 2 weeks later I am getting the same error messages in the dash and has to go back into the shop for the same reason.”

NHTSA complaint #11647774, filed 2025-03

“I frequently receive messages on the dash that the the truck: Vehicle may not start/restart service now, Pre-Collision assist not available and front camera fault. My truck has died on me which in drive and reverse. My dash and console has powered down while on the freeway then restarted about a minute later. I get these messages but Ford service is too backed up to address the issue within a reasonable amount of time and they will not let me get it serviced outside of their dealer network.”

NHTSA complaint #11616243, filed 2024-09

“Ac compressor died bad clutch internally and they can’t fix it or tell when it will be fixed anytime soon. I have been told ford isn’t making new replacements at this time. So where does that leave me?”
