Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“I am hearing and feeling snaps coming from my vehicle steering. It feels like the steering column is not functioning correctly. I can feel the truck getting more sloppy turning and traveling differently than it did at 35,000 miles. Ford wants to charge me $185 to investigate and then they may take action. There is a recall on this problem, but my truck’s vin isn’t listed. I’m worried that it may come apart or cause an accident.”
