“When idling for so long the car just died. I opened the door and the alarm went haywire. Then I have to wait 20 to 30 minutes before I can restart the car. Nothing will work after it does this until it's able to be restarted. It's been at the Ford dealership. They replaced transmission issue, said that should fix it, but it still keeps on.”
NHTSA complaint #11325043, filed 2020-05, 94,025 miles“My daughter was driving my car and it just stopped. We had to have the car towed. We had the mechanic come to the house. The car started right up. We went ahead and had the battery checked. The battery was fine. A week later and on a continuous basis we've tried to start the car and it doesn't start at all. The same message continues to appear starting system fault.”

NHTSA complaint #11382896, filed 2020-12, 60,000 miles“My car is stalling while in motion and at a idle. It will stall after sitting idle for about 15 minutes. I have brought it to a Ford service center and they refused to fix the recall because the diagnostic machine did not show a code when the car was hooked up to the machine.”
