“Vehicle stalled while driving through a busy intersection - this situation is consistent with recall notice 18s32 / NHTSA recall 18v-735. Prior to incident had visitied Ford dealer to address recall notice and was turned away as n/a for my vehicle. Please note, recall notice included my VIN and stalling incident is consistent with recall notice.”

NHTSA complaint #11164406, filed 2019-01, 48,000 miles

“Tamara recall-bought 2014 Ford Focus in 2017.ran rough.had electronic transmission recalled and replaced.car had vibration, shaking on acceleration and very little power after.Ford told me 1- that's how it's supposed to run and 2- keep taking it back- I have a good warranty.eventually they would find something wrong and fix it.I hate my car”

NHTSA complaint #11244480, filed 2019-08, 24,000 miles

“Car transmission is broken on the inside per dealer, there are articles explaining that Ford knew about the problem but still put the car out for purchase. Currently I do not have a vehicle to drive to work. I was told by Ford I would have to pay for the problem although it is an internal problem with manufacturing.”

NHTSA complaint #11299132, filed 2020-01, 100 miles

“The car randomly stalls and dies while I am driving it. It has died on the interstate and on rural roads and highways. This is very dangerous and there is currently a recall out on a part of the 2014 Ford Focus which causes this problem. It dies when I am driving and coasting, when I accelerate, and when I have my cruise set.”

NHTSA complaint #11210078, filed 2019-05, 105,000 miles

“The capless gas tank is trapping air, causing the car to burp and sometimes turning engine off even when driving. This has happened numerous times in the last 8 months. But more frequently lately. I was driving down the interstate and my engine cut off from it. Went to get it checked out and the service centers keep giving me the same response everywhere.”
