“Transmission shuddering and locked up in traffic I had to cycle the ignition key to get the vehicle off the road. I have 2 field service actions for my vehicle however Ford won't repair my issue due to the vehicle having a branded title. I had to replace the first transmission due to a cycling inside transmission which ended up busting transmission case.”

NHTSA complaint #11374302, filed 2020-11, 115,985 miles

“The wiper fluid sprayer stopped working. I have no idea why. Then ever since I bought the car it stutters everytime I hit the gas pedal. So each time when taking have it has a shaking sensation. Each time I have taken it to the dealer they say the same thing that the car was made to do that because its an automatic dual transmission.”

NHTSA complaint #11321348, filed 2020-04, 400,000 miles

“My transmission stopped engaging as I was turning into my parking space at home after a 150-mile trip.I was in motion. The engine raced. I let off the gas pedal. I turned off the engine, thinking it might be a software glitch. When I tried to restart the engine, nothing happened. I had to push the car into the space with the transmission in neutral.”

NHTSA complaint #11271744, filed 2019-10, 51,000 miles

“Check engine light came on yesterday out of nowhere. Car started jerking bad as I took off. Slowly but getting worse til I had to stop. Then didn't wanna crank back up. Strange. So we hear a loud ticking noise .. This is with keys out of the car ignition.... I put keys in , still nothing. Eventually it crank but no reverse. God help me!!!!!!!!!!!”

NHTSA complaint #11270504, filed 2019-10, 174,000 miles

“Car shudders when accelerating from a stop through the 1st gear. Had software reset and clutch replaced, but the problem still exists. There is a technical service bulletin on this issue, and as I understand, I can have the software reset and clutch replaced 2 more times, and then possibly get some monetary abatement if it's still not fixed.”
