“We purchased a vehicle on 09/03/2016 from grass valley auto wholesale brokers, grass valley, ca. The vehicle was making a ticking noise and seemed to have a power issue, it kept losing it. The next day I called the lot and told them. They said they had it checked out and not to worry. I did. It kept happening sporadically. I had a 3 month/3k miles warranty. After calling the lot again, I relayed the same symptoms the car was having. I wanted to know did they think if it could be a transmission issue, could be, was the answer I got.. …”

NHTSA complaint #10935931, filed 2016-12, 146,000 miles

“I have owned this car since december of 2003 and it has been a very large money pit. This time the car just stopped running. I had taken it to autozone and they told me it need an EGR sensor or hosing for it. When I was turning at a light the car just stopped running when I had just turned onto a main highway. There has been major electrical problems with it since day one. This car has had 5 clutches in it and I have complained about that all in itself because a car should never need that many clutches within 100,000 miles. …”

NHTSA complaint #10585519, filed 2014-04, 142,000 miles

“I now have a problem with the transmission. The mechanic thinks it is a filter or switch that keeps the oil level in the transmission when turning right. My car shuts off when I make right turns. I have spent way too much money and still owe on this car..frankly I would like to turn it in! Has lot of repair needs too much money. I had all of the recall work done also”

NHTSA complaint #10070598, filed 2004-01, 62,000 miles

“My brakes have squeaked and chirped ever since I have owned the car. I had pads and rotors replaced for the first time at 28,000 miles, and am facing having the same work done again at 48,000 miles. My automatic transmission failed at 35,000 miles, and the recalls have kept me at the service department more hours than I can count.”

NHTSA complaint #10022994, filed 2003-06, 28,000 miles

“I started to replace tires as early as 5,000 miles just about 7 times by now. Replaced ignition 5/03 for $667.00 the key would go in and wouldn't turn. Spring coil driver's side broke while in traffic replaced 4/03 for $158.50. Now the transmission is completly gone the car would not back up. Please help me, I just don't know what else to do. The customer service at paul clark is so poor that I would not go there anymore.”
