“Back at the end of june, first part of july I had a check engine light on and then the next day it was off but some stupid my key came on and not it regulates my speed and volume. I am not paying over $200 to have it removed. But the most important thing is the clutch on my transmission is out and Ford won't replace it for free and I dont have the money to fix it. I believe Ford should fix it for free since they can't build good transmissions.”

NHTSA complaint #11349338, filed 2020-08, 122,450 miles

“I started my vehicle after I dropped my 3 month old off at daycare, it was parked and my dashboard was flashing transmission fault- service now . I pulled out of my space and parked the car to restart , to see if maybe the computer just needed to be restarted. At this point the dashboard computer was going black and then trying to turn on and going blue. The speedometer stopped working, I lost all power steering. I drove it home and parked it.”

NHTSA complaint #11064184, filed 2018-01, 27,200 miles

“I do not know if it's brakes. My car does the grinding sounds too how is this normal on a new car really!!!! I just pulled out of driveway never realized it was that now with no radio on I hear it. This is ridiculous I seriously just left the shop for my stuttering slipping gear issue.”

NHTSA complaint #10617778, filed 2014-07, 5 miles

“When I first purchased the car I had issues from the start. I would press on the gas and the car would hesitate to go forward and then jerk. It felt like I was driving a manual car but I had an automatic. I found out that there was a recall on the car for this specific reason. I took the car to my local Ford dealer in clarksville in and had to wait over 3 weeks for the part to come in. I was not offered a loaner car or anything. Once I got the part it was ok for like literally maybe 1 or 2 months and the issues arose again. …”

NHTSA complaint #11234136, filed 2019-07, 36,000 miles

“While at a full stop on an incline, my brake pedal went back to a neutral position when I took my foot off, but the car stayed fully stopped. Also, when I go to press the pedal again, it is locked up. It is not locked in any kids of pressed position or falling to the floor, but in a fully unbraked, neutral position. This stayed locked for about 10 seconds before I can finally press it again and resume normal driving. This is the second occurrence of this very same incident.”
