2015: “I purchased my used 2015 Ford fusion with on 70,000 miles on it on a tuesday, on the following thursday the check engine light came on. I took it to a shop to be diagnosed and was told it just needed coolant. So they added coolant and the check engine light went off and everything was fine......but then the following tuesday the check engine light came on again. …”

NHTSA complaint #11416680, filed 2021-05, 70,300 miles

2011: “Vehicle was stationary, I closed the front driver door and the latch broke and the door would not stay closed. I had to physically hold the door shut while driving until it was repaired at a cost of over 400 dollars. I noticed this part has been recalled on the 2013 and 2014 models. Any chance that the 2011 models will be included in this recall?”

NHTSA complaint #11207315, filed 2019-05, 135,000 miles

2017: “When I turn on the defroster, the air recirculator turns off. In traffic, this lets exhaust from other cars enter the car, so I either have to breath in exhaust or drive with a fogged up windshield. I can't have the air recirculator on and the defroster. I either have to breath in exhaust or drive with a fogged windshield. It's getting to be dangerous.”
