“How can the frame of my truck rust out faster than the bed or cab. The cab mounts are gone. The shackles of the leaf springs are paper thin and ready to collapse. When I drive down the road and hit a bump it sounds like the cab is going fall to the ground. I am afraid one of these days , I'll get in an accident and the entire cab is going to fly off the truck. The motor has outlasted the frame. Make laugh.”

“On my 1993 Ford Ranger,my brake & clutch mounting bracket failed due to stress fracture of welds. This caused lose of brakes and use of clutch. Ford has a recall on failure of studs on the power brake booster that is mounted on this bracket, but nothing on the failure of the bracket.”

“The frame has rusted until the truck is no longer drivable. It is four wheel drive and I have already replaced the rear spring shackles when they rusted out in 2006. I bolted a piece of angle to the transmission support to repair it after it rusted into and dropped the transmissiom and twisted the drive shaft into while driving down the road I took it up on 2/9/2012 to get a new exhaust put on it and and got a call from the service garage to come look at the under carraige of the truck. …”
