NHTSA complaint #11541322, filed 2023-08“My 2023 GNC Sierra 1500 has experienced a recurring electrical and safety-related malfunction on multiple occasions while driving. The dashboard and warning lights intermittently flash on, and off and numerous warning messages appear simultaneously. During previous occurrences, warnings included power steering service, safety restraint system, check engine and transmission related messages, including a message instructing me to pull over and shut the vehicle off. During one occurrence, the electric power steering assist stopped working while I was driving. …”
NHTSA complaint #11755734, filed 2026-08“While driving on the highway a message came up stating Brake System Failure, top speed 62 mph. It also came up with other error messages, like service traction control. I completely lost any braking capability and had to let it slow down & pull off to the side of the highway. I shutoff the vehicle and then restarted it & everything seemed fine. I took it to the dealership right away, where they said it had about 20 communication codes across different systems. After 3 days of them having it, they have no idea what is going on. …”

NHTSA complaint #11624404, filed 2024-11“This has now happened 4 times and I'm taking the truck to the dealership to figure out what the issue is. At high speeds, 65 to 75 mph, on the freeway, the rear brakes suddenly lock up for no apparent reason. Extremely dangerous for myself and surrounding vehicles, especially behind me. The most recent incident pretty much gave me whiplash because it's unexpected with no warnings whatsoever. The freeway was clear, with light traffic. I was almost rear ended because the vehicle behind me had no reason to believe the my vehicle was going to suddenly come to an abrupt stop. …”
