Example complaints

Other or unknown: “There are two cracks on the dashboard. The first crack is above the instrument panel on the left side of it. The second crack is above the airbag in the left hand corner on passenger side. Truck is garage kept and not a daily driven truck it spends most of its life in the garage out of sun. The dashboard plastic is a cheap material compared to the slightly flexible plastic that is on the doors. There are thousands of complaints with various models of GM and chevy with this exact problem in the same spots throughout the internet. …”

NHTSA complaint #10519477, filed 2013-06, 78,000 miles

Engine: “Exhaust manifold bolt, driver side, against fire wall, broke off under normal driving. It is my understanding that there has been a big problem with this. Gmc should be made to repair this at their cost, the est. Repair cost from a dealer is $1,400 - $1,700. This is a bunch of bs. Is GM covering up this screw up too????”
