“Car repeatedly shuts off when driving. I was driving in the highway and my Honda lights started flickering and the speedometer hands started flickering. My car then shut off and my wheel locked. I tried to restart and it would not turn back on. It sounded like my car was dragging something but I checked underneath and didn't see anything. After gassing the car while starting, it finally started back up but you could tell it was barely being powered. It sounded like it was trying hard to power but it was only doing it so much. …”
NHTSA complaint #11185726, filed 2019-03, 149,170 miles“I was attempting to turn left at a highway intersection and the Honda totally stalled and the green key light came on the dash . The vehicle did not lose total power but it stalled while a fast vehicle approached from the right. I was afraid I would not get through the intersection without a wreck. It was a terrifying experience. After that first incident the vehicle totally lost power while at a stop sign in a mall. It took 2 attempts to restart the car. …”
NHTSA complaint #10444643, filed 2012-01, 163,700 miles“Below are bits of a letter I sent in as part of a survey to the Honda dealer: the Honda (h) dealer in ftwaltonbeach, fl refused to replace the recall part. I have emails and numerous attempts to have it replaced; once I discovered there was a recall part, Honda still wouldn't agree to fix it. Initially, I thought they couldn't fix my car problem, so I bought a haynes manual, searched the web and attempted to diagnose it myself. That is how I found out about the recall. …”
NHTSA complaint #10241419, filed 2008-09, 146,030 miles“I was driving on the interstate. My car started trying to go out on me like it wasn't getting the fuel it needed or something. I was going 65mph and then also when I stop at a light it tries to idle out or it does go out.”
