“After getting the Honda Accord steering hose replaced due to overheating, I begin to hear noises and have steering issues. I took my car to the dealership and was told that I need to replace the rack and pion steering and the power steering pump. I believe that due to the power steering hose was the cause to additional problems to the steering.”

“Honda 2005 Accord ex: my power windows will not always function. Window will not go down when switch is pressed. If it is down, it will not come up. Neither direction works correctly. This has been happening for almost 5 months. This week the window went down while I was driving but had not pressed the switch. Our Honda fit 2007 just received a recall notice for this exact issue. Is there also a problem with Honda Accord 2005?”

NHTSA complaint #10321861, filed 2010-03, 25,700 miles

“As I was coming to a complete stop, parking, the car sped up involuntarily. I kept pressing on the brakes, but it did not make any difference until the car was stopped by hitting a building. I was told that the dealer inspected the brakes while the car was at the body shop, and did not find anything wrong with them. The car was repaired, and I continued driving it. The involuntary acceleration occurred several times again, but I did not think anything of it because I was not coming to a complete stop, and it adjusted its speed again. …”

NHTSA complaint #10716358, filed 2015-05, 9,119 miles

“All of a sudden one day the GPS navigation system stopped working completely. My car's make/model uses the GPS navigation panel to manually change internal functions, access the trip computer, enter addresses, et cetera. Without use of the navigation panel, I have severely limited access to most of my car's electronic functions. The navigation gets stuck on the start-up screen (something that looks blue/black with words 'Honda'), and never gets to the second warning screen (orange text on black), where one can push 'ok on the touch screen. …”

“The jacks that Honda provide for its 2005 Honda is not safe the system is a knuckle busting experierience and the jack will not hold the vehicle. It takes a lot longer to move the damaged tire from the vehicle. Why is it not a law that all car manufacturers are required to use a full size spare and a floor style jack I work in the automotive field and I know how to use a jack.”
