“The steering wheel became hard to turn randomly and the power steering problem warning came on but then went away. At one point the driver assist turned off and the lights were orange but then it went away too. It keeps happening when I'm parking. The steering wheel gets stiff and the warning comes on and goes away. There were no lights or warnings prior, just started happening randomly. This is recent and I have not yet got it inspected but it is available for inspection.”

NHTSA complaint #11743127, filed 2026-06

“My car will warn me of impeding collision when there is nothing in front of my car, it will brake randomly or tell me to brake at unnecessary times, it will move the steering wheel when it suspects I am departing a lane even though I am not departing a lane.”

NHTSA complaint #11516758, filed 2023-04

“This car has well known issues with the infotainment system probably since it came out and nothing has been fixed. There are constant ghost touches/glitching, especially when it gets hotter outside. Now after owning it for a year, Apple CarPlay freaks out. I’ll be listening to music and then suddenly the screen goes black. The buttons still work on the blacked out screen but nothing will pop back up. I had my dealership take a look and this is an ongoing issue with Honda. I’ve seen car forums talk about the same thing for years and nothing is being resolved permanently. …”

NHTSA complaint #11738358, filed 2026-05

“About three weeks into car ownership while drivng on the highway during the day, I changed lanes and the brakes engaged suddenly for about 2 seconds. No one was behind me or in front of me. No cars or obstacles. I took it into the dealership the next day. They tested it and found nothing wrong. About a month later it happended again while driving on the highway with no cars or obsticals in front me. changing lanes and the car braked for a period of 1 second. It happened again about 10 minutes later but this time braked for 2 seconds and if someone was behind me, it may have casued an accident. …”

NHTSA complaint #11513516, filed 2023-03

“While driving on numerous occasions and my 2022 Honda Accord the automatic emergency braking is activated out of nowhere there will be either no cars ahead of me or cars in opposite lanes but nothing in mine. I've had this car for about 3 months an it has happened at least 4 times. No accidents have happened because of this however it easily could have resulted in one. Also I'm filling and complaining about the lane keeping assist. Multiple times ive be driving with the lane keeping assist on hands on the wheel and all of a sudden it'll try to jerk me off the road this is extremely dangerous. …”
