2021: “Infotainment system reboots while driving, lose access to navigation, music, and anything controlled with the radio. Unable to reverse safely due to loss of back up camera, Honda dealer does not want to replace and they tell me to turn my head and look over my shoulder”
NHTSA complaint #11604057, filed 2024-072023: “I respectfully request that the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles investigate Rick Case Honda for a repair I believe was performed negligently and the dealership's refusal to accept responsibility. On December 2, 2025, Rick Case Honda performed a cylinder head replacement on my 2023 Honda Civic before selling it at auction. I later purchased the vehicle on March 16, 2026, from Newton Nissan South, which had acquired it through the auction. Several months later, the engine developed an oil leak. …”
NHTSA complaint #11747700, filed 2026-072019: “Honda has sent this recall notice in Feb 2024 and again in Jan 2025. I am unable to get it fixed and remedy. I am getting the run around that parts are not available. I called back in Oct 2024 and was put on a wait list. I called again 2/6/2025 and was told the same thing. I am trying to be proactive before the fuel pump goes out and be left stranded on the road. In addition, CA dmv are stating that they will not renew my registration without this recall being fixed. My registration is due soon in April.”
