“The AC system on these models have a factory defect. I was driving on the surface streets the windshield became foggy, I could not see traffic in front of me and suddenly stopped in the middle of the road. I got out of the car and cleaned the windshield with the piece of towel. Because the car's AC was not working it could not defogg the windshield. I have contacted Honda, but Honda doesn't repair it. It is a safety issue.”
NHTSA complaint #11413299, filed 2021-04, 30,000 miles“Its been 4 months now that the 3rd light brake in my car still pending resolution. It blocks my rear view as it is hanging 3 inches down with this black square 5 x 5 x 5 to cover th light. I can't driver this car in the night because its dangerous to driver it due to the size of the box. I am still waiting for for Honda to resolve this problem”
NHTSA complaint #10918612, filed 2016-10, 400 miles“I was driving down interstate 30 at 70 MPH when I heard a large explosion. I pulled off of the interstate to check my tires and finally realized the sunroof exploded. It was not raining, there was not a dump truck in front of me, I was not on my phone or distracted, I was paying close attention to the road and the sunroof exploded out of the blue. There was no point of impact below the glass insert, but the entire sunroof was shattered into a million pieces.”
NHTSA complaint #11309827, filed 2020-02, 72,910 miles“The windshield wipers are too weak to handle a medium to hard rain storm. I was caught in a bad storm while on the freeway and had my windshield wipers on full setting but still not strong enough to allow safe visibility. It was a very dangerous and frightening experience.”
NHTSA complaint #11004782, filed 2017-07, 20 miles“Driving on I-5. All of the sudden, I heard a pop and the glass from my sunroof was falling on me. I did not see any rocks or objects hit my vehicle. Traffic was moving fairly slow. No semi trucks in front of me. Dealership said a rock must of hit my sunroof but nothing found.”
